Chicago Bears defensive tackle Dan Hampton declined President Obama's offer to come to the White House. Obama invited the entire 1985 Chicago Bears Super Bowl team to D.C, and Hampton was the only one to decline. Here are his reasons for not wanting to come.
- Wives and children of the players weren't invited.
- He says he's "not a fan of the guy in the White House."
- "It was 25 years ago. Let it go."
Hmmmm....I think most people would just take the invitation because it's an opportunity that most don't get. There has to be more to the story, maybe he just doesn't like the "black" guy in the office. I'm not the one to always play the race card, but "I'm just saying".
