Detroit Lions Jerome Harrison Brain Tumor Diagnosis Stops Trade

Just before being traded to the Philadelphia to the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions running back Jerome Harrison has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The brain tumor, which was discovered during a physical conducted by the Eagles, voids the trade as was posted on the Philadelphia Eagles website Wednesday night. It appears that the potential trade saved Harrison's life because had it not been for the physical, the tumor would not have been discovered so soon. Sources say that Harrison has seen multiple doctors and is being treated for the tumor. Although he will not be able to play football this season, he is expected to make a full recovery.

Prayers go out to jerome Harrison.

Reggie Bush Speaks About Being Traded!

Being that I don't know much about football I can't say exactly what all these trades mean, but I know for sure that Reggie Bush is going to live it up in Miami, and Ochocinco should be glad somebody picked his "attention-whore" ass up. #imjustsaying

Here's what Reggie Bush had to say about his trade.

"Change is never easy but I look forward to building something special in Miami and can't wait to embark on this new journey!" Bush wrote on Twitter.

In other words, I'm just glad to be playing football again and I'm gonna bag a bunch of jump-offs while I'm there.

Living the Dream: NFL's oldest cheerleader to get a life-based movie

Laura Vikmanis and her daughter in Bangals gear
I was browsing through the headlines today when I saw this inspirational story. Laura Vikmanis a 42 year old NFL cheerleader started dancing for the NFL when her husband left her for a younger woman. She had to try out for the Bengals twice before she made the team. She began dancing to fill a void and also to serve as an inspiration to her daughters. Laura is the oldest NFL cheerleader in history and now she is going to get to see her story protrayed on the big screen in a story penned by Emily Cook and Kathy Greenberg who wrote "Gnomeo and Juliet." Man I know her husband feels stupid.
Let's all send a big YOU GO GIRL to Laura Vikmanis!!!
